Myotherapy
Short version: ‘Myo’ meaning of muscle; we deal with muscles! Hands-on, assessing injuries, giving exercises… All of it!
Longer (technical!) version: Myotherapy is the evidence-based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions. We assess, treat (via various massage techniques, dry needling and other modalities) and assist in the rehab of musculoskeletal (muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, etc), discomfort/dysfunction/pain/tightness/whatever you are feeling that you think is not quite right!

Chinese Medicine
Chinese Medicine uses a unique analytical system to determine the underlying cause of imbalance in the body’s Qi (pronounced ‘Chee’) or energy which may result in illness, pain or dysfunction of the body, mind or emotions.
Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Lifestyle Modification are used to re-establish balance to restore health.
Chinese Medicine is particularly well suited to complement Myotherapy treatment in complex multi-system conditions or when Myotherapy techniques work well in the short term but where relief is short-lived. Chinese Medicine principles can be used in these cases to analyze the reasons behind the pain that may not be apparent using Western tests and scans allowing for a more holistic approach.

Exercise Prescription/Rehabilitation
Exercise prescription commonly refers to the specific plan of fitness-related activities that are designed for a specified purpose.
Often the pain is related to biomechanical dysfunction, and treatment alone will not be enough to help with pain management.
Your therapist may supply you with exercises to help with your recovery.
Pre and Post rehabilitation programs can be provided.
