  • Kaileigh Besim

    Owner/Clinical Myotherapist

    Bachelor of Health Sciences (Myotherapy)

Kaileigh first qualified as a Myotherapist in 2013 and has had a long career working with the St Kilda Football Club, closely collaborating with the players during the home and away seasons. During the lockdowns, she decided to continue her studies to further her knowledge and better assist her patients. In 2023, she completed her Bachelor of Health Science, making her a Clinical Myotherapist.

Following her studies, Kaileigh enjoys using her newfound skills in assessing and treating patients while still thoroughly enjoying the hands-on experience of treatment that she has been known for since becoming a Myotherapist. Confident in all aspects of treatment, Kaileigh particularly enjoys working with athletes (both young and old) to help them return to full playing capacity, pain-free. She is passionate about educating her clients on pain management and exercise prescription to prevent future injuries.

In her spare time, you may find Kaileigh on a netball court or lifting weights in the gym. As an avid traveller, she has many tales to share when the conversation turns to exploring, and she is always eager to learn about new places to visit.

Currently, she stays busy raising her two young daughters. As a mum, Kaileigh understands the challenges of self-care but knows the importance of putting yourself first to ensure you can keep doing what you do. She believes in creating plans to help her clients take care of themselves.

  • Rebecca Elbrow

    Myotherapist

    Bachelor of Exercise Science

Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy)

After completing her Bachelor of Exercise Science, Bec realised that her passion was in treating patients via manual therapy. Myotherapy was the natural next choice for study, with it’s focus on the musculoskeletal system and treatment.

Bec loves the hands-on nature of myotherapy. She values treatment highly as a practitioner and believes in the importance education for great patient outcomes. Bec loves to discuss the whole of the problem, inclusive of everything, as it’s rare that pain or discomfort has a singular cause.

Bec is sports mad and is happy watching any sport, anywhere. She has played netball since she was 8 and while taking a break currently getting back from two pregnancies, still has a love for the game. She’s always happy hitting up a game of NRL or the local footy on the weekend. Bec has run a few half marathons in her time (13!) and can be seen running (slowly) along Frankston foreshore when she gets a chance.

With two young children herself, Bec understands that life can be hectic and that in our priorities, we rarely feature highly. So she always strives to find ways to help her clients achieve their goals without adding extra stress.
